Beer Bread

3 cups self-rising flour
3 T sugar
1 can (room temperature) Beer

1 stick butter

Mix all together, pour into a greased bread or loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Then melt 1 stick of butter all over the top. Return to oven and continue baking 30 to 45 minutes or until top is golden brown and crusty.

Bread will have a hard crust; you may need to slice with an electric knife.
